Greetings to All,
I want to personally thank everyone for your prayers for Sybil and me. The surgery on her vocal cords went very smooth and the Doc says she will be able to start yelling at me in the very near future! For the time being, we both wish we had attended Todd and Belinda’s sign language classes because all of Sybil’s communication to me is written. There is an old saying that “Silence is Golden.” That may be true at certain times but right now I do miss my wife’s voice.
I want to encourage our church family to continue to pray for our shut-ins, those who have recently lost loved ones (Mike Stone, Ellen Howard, Barbara Morgan) and for those who continue to struggle with sickness/injury. God has blessed us in so many ways and He encourages us to bring our cares and concerns before His throne of grace.
I know many of you are wondering if I will ever preach again!!! Yes, I will preach Sunday morning, 03/18/12. Sometimes when missionaries and singers/evangelists are scheduled I have to work around their meetings as they do around ours. We have had a busy several weeks but I am so thankful for all of the blessings God brought to us through Bro. and Sis. Reffeitt and Bro. Grossman but I am ready to get back in the pulpit! I will keep everyone posted on Bro. Ronnie Warren who will be with us in June. He is a very talented musician, singer and evangelist who has been with us many times in the past.
Have a blessed day and consider all of the blessings God has for you today. If you have the opportunity, watch the sunset with someone you love, hug a child, tell someone “I love y0u” and whisper a prayer for someone who comes to your mind during the day!
Love you all!
Bro. Delton
So glad Sybil’s surgery went well. PTL! Praying for both of you and for the many in our church who are hurting right now.- Don & Dominie
