THANK YOU!

I want to take just a moment to thank everyone who turned out last Saturday (06/08) for our work day at church. I was truly overwhelmed by the number of people that came out to help beautify God’s house. We got so much accomplished and then had a wonderful homecoming on Sunday. I never cease to be amazed at the “can-do” spirit exhibited by the fine people of South Middleburg Baptist Church and pastoring folks like all of you is truly a blessing.

Bro. Joe Henkle will be preaching for us during the morning service on Sunday, June 16th, 2013. In addition to being a very talented singer/musician, Bro. Joe is also a great preacher. Please pray for him as he prepares to share God’s Word with us

Don’t forget Bro. Mike Remington will be with us on Sunday, June 30th, 2013, during the morning service. Mike is the founder of Remington Deaf Ranch in Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona. Please invite friends and relatives to come a hear a very clear presentation of the Gospel and be blessed by witnessing this unique work started in Arizona to aid the deaf in that community.

We will have our fifth-Sunday sing on Sunday, June 30th, 2013. We will dedicate the evening service to allow everyone who wants to praise God in song the time to do so. These sings are always a blessing and I appreciate all who share their talents with the congregation.

Make yourself a note! Thursday, July 4th, @ 5pm, we will be sponsoring an afternoon of festivities to celebrate this special American holiday. We will have games, great food and the best fellowship you can imagine! Bro. Dick and I will be serving up some “burnt offerings” from the grill and hope that everyone can make it and bring a friend(s). We do need to know an approximate number of people we will be serving so I will prepare a sign-up sheet very soon.
