Funeral Arrangements for Ola Johns

Greetings in the name of our Lord.

It is with great sorrow I report to you the passing of Ola Johns.  Ola went on to glory on Monday, August 18th, 2014. On behalf of the entire South Middleburg Baptist Church family, we offer our sincere condolences to Ola’s family. I ask that every member of our church family remember in prayer all those who mourn for Ola’s passing.

As many of you know Ola had suffered with COPD for many years and a multitude of doctors did their very best to not only extend her life but also give her a quality of life. Ola was aware that a cure for her condition was not to be had on this earth. She knew that it would take the Great Physician to give her the cure she longed for! In the twinkling of an eye Ola was ushered into God’s Kingdom where she was healed and  will never know sickness again. Ola’s funeral will be at South Middleburg Baptist Church, 4565 Alligator Boulevard, Middleburg, Florida, on Friday August 22nd, 2014. Arrangements are as follows:

Family viewing from 12 – 1 pm

Friends viewing from 1pm – 2pm

Funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Delton Kilpatrick officiating.

Internment will be at Hatcher Cemetery immediately after the church service.

For Our Church Family:

We will receive the family for dinner at the church fellowship hall after the graveside service. This is our way of showing our love and respect for this family during this very trying time. I am asking for anyone who can participate with preparing food to please do so. We will also need some volunteers to serve the meal and clean up afterwards.

Also, don’t forget we will be hosting the kick-off event for upcoming “Teen Challenge” on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014, beginning at 10:00am. I realize there are times when I ask you to go “above and beyond” what is normally expected. However, let’s all remember we have a God who went “above and beyond” what we deserve! Let us serve Him with gladness! Thank you for all that you do.

I love you all and keep looking up!

Bro. Delton
